Octopus To Demo Innovative iReporter App At NAB

Octopus Newsroom has announced its plans for the NAB Show in Las Vegas, with exclusive demos scheduled for its iReporter app and enhanced assignment desk.

The iReporter app converts viewers into potential reporters and is equipped with an interactive geo-targeting map to locate people near a breaking event.  
The company's enhanced assignment desk can also be used for resource management, tracking and expenses monitoring. It allows multiple views, including calendar and agenda. Users can also create custom fields within the assignment desk to fit their preferred workflow style.

Along with the demos, Octopus will showcase a range of other innovations at booth SL7627 during the show, 08-11 April.

The team will demonstrate next-generation newsroom planning tools. Real-time collaboration allows teams to contribute from anywhere to anywhere. Octopus expands viewer engagement with social media integration and quick publication on major content management systems.
