Astro Unveils Mounam Pesiyadhe

Astro, Malaysia's leading content and entertainment company, is expanding its slate of impactful local dramas with the premiere of Mounam Pesiyadhe, a family series that confronts themes of marriage, trust and infidelity. Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Tinesh Sarathi Krishnan and produced by industry veteran Datin Sri Shaila V, new episodes air Monday to Thursday at 9.30pm on Astro Vinmeen (Ch 202) via TV, Astro GO, On Demand and Sooka.

The narrative centres on Dr Arjun and his wife Mira, whose outwardly ideal partnership conceals long-suppressed secrets and simmering tensions. He is a respected surgeon and she an aspiring writer, but cracks begin to show as hidden truths emerge. What starts as subtle strain turns into a fraught struggle over trust, control and survival, where betrayal, obsession and manipulation muddy the boundary between love and loyalty. Each revelation raises the stakes, forcing Arjun and Mira to confront whether to fight for their marriage or walk separate paths.
