Astro Audio Unveils KITA FM And 'Lagu KITA'

Astro Audio has launched KITA FM and Lagu KITA as a special initiative for National Day and Malaysia Day 2026, designed to ignite patriotism, honour cultural diversity and strengthen unity among Malaysians.

Through this platform, Malaysians are invited to celebrate the identities, voices and stories that bind the nation via music, entertainment and community activities taking place nationwide over 17 days, from 31 August to 16 September 2026.

The launch is backed by partners HURIX’S, Thong Guan, AEON Credit, Google Pixel, BHPetrol and DuoPharma, who share the aspiration to champion togetherness and harmony across the country.

Throughout the campaign, KITA FM will tour multiple locations nationwide, bringing engaging activities that reflect the multicultural character of Malaysia.

Programme highlights include mini showcases in four languages featuring local artists and entertainers, along with a series of outside broadcasts from a double-decker bus that will enable Astro Audio presenters to connect more closely with listeners at various destinations.

The campaign also includes a 63-kilometre run across Malaysia, which is expected to make history and receive recognition from the Malaysia Book of Records. Fans can also attend meet-and-greet sessions with Astro Audio presenters during the tour.
