Rohde & Schwarz Opens Registration

Rohde & Schwarz will once again host its Mobile Test Summit as an online event in 2026, with registrations now open. The company’s global gathering returns across three dates in October, offering a deep dive into technologies expected to shape 6G.

Following last year’s format, the summit takes place on 7, 14 and 21 October, each day dedicated to one of the three pillars of the emerging 6G standard: AI-native RAN, integrated sensing and communication (ISAC), and non-terrestrial networks (NTN). Attendees can register for individual topics on the Rohde & Schwarz website.

The opening programme on 7 October explores AI-native RAN, an architecture that brings network operations and AI computing onto a unified platform. The session will examine how this approach can boost performance and what’s required to validate and test such systems.

On 14 October, the focus shifts to ISAC, which leverages existing radio infrastructure to both transmit data and sense the surrounding environment. Expect discussion of the market outlook, early cross-industry use cases and the momentum building within the ecosystem, along with implications for testing.

The final instalment on 21 October centres on NTN, combining satellites, high-altitude platforms and drones to extend coverage beyond terrestrial networks. Speakers will address current trends, deployment opportunities and the technical hurdles to achieving seamless, ubiquitous connectivity.

Together, the three sessions will map the current state of 6G research and where it is heading, giving participants a rounded perspective on the wider wireless ecosystem and the testing demands it entails.
