Rohde & Schwarz To Showcase Integrated Defence And Test Solutions

Rohde & Schwarz will bring its latest defence and aerospace capabilities to DALO Industry Days 2026, showing how its technologies help deliver operational advantage in increasingly contested areas of the electromagnetic spectrum.

Attendees will see a broad line-up covering electromagnetic intelligence (ELINT), counter‑uncrewed aerial systems (c‑UAS), tactical communications and defence test and measurement solutions.

A centrepiece is a mobile ELINT solution designed for rapid deployment, advanced signal discovery and actionable spectrum insight. Also on show is the new R&S PR300 portable receiver, which enables flexible spectrum monitoring and signal detection for tactical missions.

The company will display an uncrewed aerial vehicle fitted with the established Rohde & Schwarz airborne payload, demonstrating how airborne sensors can extend situational awareness and support modern intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) operations.

For counter‑UAS roles, Rohde & Schwarz will present THORIS, an open, modular architecture to detect and defeat small drones. The scalable, multi‑layer platform combines RF expertise with radar, electro‑optical/infrared and additional sensing technologies, orchestrated via a centralised command‑and‑control layer to provide a unified operational picture and enable rapid threat assessment, prioritisation and coordinated response.

Secure, resilient communications remain a priority. Rohde & Schwarz will demonstrate its tactical communications portfolio, including the HR5000 software‑defined radio and a fixed‑station communications system, delivering secure, interoperable links for demanding military environments.

The stand will also feature advanced test instruments such as the R&S CMA180 communications service analyser for testing common analogue and digital radio systems, and the R&S MXO 3 oscilloscope for triggering and decoding aerospace protocols including MIL‑STD‑1553, ARINC 429 and SpaceWire.
