Rohde & Schwarz Equips Marquistech With Conformance Test Systems

Marquistech has expanded its operations in Noida, establishing India’s first fully equipped conformance lab recognised by the Global Certification Forum (GCF) as a recognised test organisation (RTO) and authorised by PTCRB as an authorised test lab (ATL).

The upgrade, delivered using Rohde & Schwarz platforms, broadens local certification services for mobile devices, IoT products and wireless modules.

To enable the new capability, Marquistech has installed the R&S TS8980FTA‑3A RF/RRM full type approval system, the CMX500 radio communication tester for protocol conformance, the R&S TS‑LBS positioning test system for location‑based services, and the R&S TS9982 and R&S TS9975 EMI/EMC test systems.

With this build‑out, Marquistech becomes the first conformance test house in India equipped for both certification programmes. Located in the Delhi National Capital Region, the lab targets manufacturers serving export‑oriented electronics supply chains.

The newly deployed solutions cover legacy 4G and advanced 5G features — including non‑terrestrial networks (NTN) and mission‑critical communications (MCX) — with extensive validated test case coverage. Rohde & Schwarz has also delivered on‑site EMC and EMI regulatory testing to widen service scope, reduce outsourcing and costs for the lab, and shorten customers’ certification timelines. The overall capability set spans 4G and 5G conformance, NB‑IoT NTN, Cat‑M, NB‑IoT, MCX and location‑based services (LBS) certification.

Marquistech has long acted as a GCF field testing RTO. By extending its Noida site to cover conformance testing, it offers a broader local pathway for device makers seeking certification support during development and ahead of market launch.
