STV Radio Appoints Bauer Media Audio UK As National Sales Partner

STV Radio has confirmed a partnership with Bauer Media Audio UK to provide agency sales representation across Scotland's newest commercial radio station.

STV's in-house team will retain responsibility for direct client sales covering both advertising and sponsorship.

Launched on 7 January 2026, STV Radio broadcasts nationwide on DAB digital radio, online, via STV Player and on smart speakers. The station delivers a personality-led mix of entertainment, conversation and music from the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s.

By joining Bauer Media's roster of Partner Stations, STV Radio will gain access to scalable, multi-platform campaigns at a national level. Airtime, sponsorship and promotions will be available either within the Hits Radio Portfolio or as a standalone station buy.

Since going on air, the station has attracted a broad range of advertisers, including brands with existing ties to STV as well as newcomers to the business. STV Radio is due to receive its first RAJAR audience figures later this month, marking six months of broadcasting, after which Bauer Media will begin representation.

Danielle Kelly, Commercial Director, STV, said: "STV Radio reaches and represents audiences right across Scotland and has been very well received by listeners and advertisers since launch in early January. Partnering with Bauer Media as our national sales agent is commercially a strong option for us and we look forward to working with them to continue to grow our audio business, connect with brands, and deliver impactful advertising campaigns across the station."

Simon Kilby, Managing Director, Bauer Media Advertising, said: "We're pleased to welcome STV Radio to our portfolio of Partner Stations. We're looking forward to representing the station nationally and regionally, giving advertisers another high-quality environment in which to engage audiences through creative, effective audio campaigns."
