Hit STV Football Podcast Heads To TV In Friday-Night Takeover
STV has announced that its hit podcast The STV Radio Football Show will move onto television as a new 30-minute sports entertainment programme, The STV Radio Football Takeover, broadcasting every Friday night from 31 July on STV, STV Player and YouTube.
New episodes of the podcast will continue to be released every Monday.
Fronted by presenters Ewen Cameron, Ronnie Charters and Callum Bell, the TV show will gear up Scottish football fans for the weekend, previewing the biggest matches and reflecting on the week’s funniest and most dramatic moments. True to form, the trio’s lively disagreements, banter and hot takes will carry over from pod to screen.
Special guests will join each week to debate the latest action, a Question of the Week from the public will keep the hosts on their toes, and the team will unveil a different Top Six — from infamous manager meltdowns to the most shocking dives of the season.
The STV Radio Football Takeover is sponsored by CR Smith and produced by STV News for STV and STV Player, with John Mason serving as Executive Producer.
