The Fall Returns To BBC Two

BBC Two is set to welcome the return of psychological thriller The Fall.

The series stars Gillian Anderson as Detective Superintendent Stella Gibson and Jamie Dornan as murderer Paul Spector.

The third series picks up right where series two left off, with Spector fighting for his life having been shot. Bringing Spector to book is now going to take much more than simply holding him in custody. In an emotionally-charged aftermath following a shooting, Gibson's journey to deliver justice for the victims' families begins with a blood-soaked fight to keep the killer alive.

However, as the drama reaches its conclusion, the rules of the deadly game of cat and mouse are set to shift once again.

This series, Anderson and Dornan are joined by Krister Henriksson (Wallander), Aidan McArdle (Mr Selfridge), Ruth Bradley (Humans), Aisling Bea (Trollied) and Richard Coyle (Crossbones). Colin Morgan returns as Detective Sergeant Tom Anderson, with series regulars John Lynch, Valene Kane, Stuart Graham, Bronagh Waugh and Aisling Franciosi also returning.
