Soho Editor Acquires VPTV Post Production And Media Facilities
Oxfordshire-based VPTV has been bought by ex-Soho editor, Rob Burchell, giving production companies a real alternative to taking their post to London, Birmingham or Bristol.
Previously Head of Editing at Oasis Television and with a background as senior editor at BBC Post Production, Rob Burchell's vision as MD of VPTV is to offer 'Soho in the Regions', a full-service facility with all the technical, creative and client-handling skills expected of a top quality Soho post house.
VPTV's offering includes shooting, either on location or in its 1250sqft studio; online and offline editing on systems from Final Cut Pro HD through to Avid Adrenaline HD; graphics, audio recording, mixing, remote viewing and final delivery on tape, authored for DVD or encoded for the web.
"Our accessible, central location on the Oxfordshire/Gloucestershire border makes us the ideal choice for clients based outside London," says Rob Burchell. "VPTV has consistently been listed amongst the UK's top 25 regional facilities and through investment in both high quality people and equipment, we aim to make it one of the very best."
