NTL PURCHASE SCANNERS TV FACILITIES COMPANY

NTL have announced the purchase of Scanners TV, an independent television facilities company in Nottingham for an undisclosed sum.
Scanners TV will become part of NTL’s Media Solutions group, which provides end-to-end broadcast services across the globe.
Business Director of NTL’s Media Solutions Group Steve Holebrook said: “We have been looking to complement our existing outside broadcast facilities and satellite news gathering operation with a key acquisition that will bring high-calibre staff, excellent client experience and an enviable reputation in the industry into our business.”
Scanners TV staff will join NTL’s existing Media Solutions team, including engineering management, vision, VT and sound engineers plus camera operators and riggers.
