ADS Tech launch Instant TV Deluxe

ADS Tech (www.adstech.com), a leader in consumer video editing solutions, has announced the launch of the Instant TV Deluxe, an external TV tuner, video capture, and editing device that offers unprecedented levels of scheduling and recording convenience in a single device.
The Instant TV Deluxe is more than just a TV tuner, as it features CapWiz and Direct to Disc (USB version) capabilities, thus allowing users to record to DVD directly from TV. In addition, the device also ships with a remote control and an Infrared (IR) Blaster, which enables users to connect their Set Top Box video output directly to the TV Deluxe.
The IR Blaster can ‘learn’ IR codes from new devices, making it ideal for users with satellite TV receivers, DVB-T set top boxes, or Cable TV boxes, as it can change channels on the box based upon your pre-programmed TV recording schedule - even when you are not at home - and can also record TV programming from the Set Top Boxes onto a PC.
The Instant TV Deluxe also includes a robust hardware MPEG encoder and a remote control for TV tuning, recording, and playback. It offers an ideal and affordable solution for quickly and easily making MPEG-1 or MPEG-2 digital recordings of favourite television programs. The compact device can be used to record TV shows directly to the user's PC, no matter how they receive their TV signal (cable TV, digital cable, satellite TV, standard TV, even from a set top DVB-T receiver). They can even bypass the PC and record VCD, SVCD, or DVD files directly to any CD or DVD disc.
The SnapStream Beyond TV Basic application that is included with Instant TV Deluxe is an easy-to-use application for dynamic TV viewing, complete with overlays that can be used to view information about the show as it is being viewed. Using the software's time-shifting capabilities, live TV can be paused during interruptions and users can resume viewing where they left off when they return. In addition to being able to pause, rewind, and fast forward live TV, users can create their own instant replays of favourite scenes or sports events.
With Beyond TV Basic's integrated Electronic TV Programming Guide, Instant TV Deluxe users can schedule TV recording on their PC up to seven days in advance with a single click of the mouse or remote. TV recording can also be scheduled remotely via the Internet or from a WAP-enabled cell phone.
