DIGISCOPE APPOINT TWO SENIOR CONSULTANTS

DIGISCOPE, the interactive media consulting group, have appointed two new Senior Consultants to their UK operation.
The two new Senior Consultants are leading new media commentator Barry Flynn and Richard Oban who has held senior positions with Two Way TV and the Discovery Channel.
The appointments are part of the expansion of Digiscope’s UK operation, which is the focus for the company’s work on digital TV for international clients, and the first phase of a major European expansion. The UK office is headed by Daniel Ljungh, formerly with A.T. Kearney.
Flynn is a leading New Media Commentator with over 20 years experience in TV and print journalism as well as strategic new media consultancy. He is the author of a number of major management reports on digital TV. Before joining Digiscope he was a Senior Consultant with Informed Sources, a strategic consultancy which he helped to set up in 1993.
Oban also has extensive experience in new media. Before joining Digiscope, he was a Senior Manager at the interactive channel, Two Way TV, responsible for international sales and development of interactive games and services across digital TV platforms. Prior to that, Oban was Director of Network Relations and Head of Distribution for Discovery Networks Europe, and Account Manager for BSkyB.
With headquarters in Stockholm, Digiscope have grown since their formation in 1999. The company now have over 60 consultants and application developers in Sweden, Finland and the UK, working with platform owners, media companies and content owners on strategic planning, application development and implementation of interactive media across multiple platforms.
