New TV Division For Exclusive Media

Exclusive Media, the filmed entertainment company, has established a television division and inked a global first look development and distribution deal with FremantleMedia Enterprises (FME).
Exclusive Media Television (EMTV) will be run by Exclusive Media Vice Chairman and Hammer President Simon Oakes, and is already in active development on a number of high profile projects, which will be announced in due course.
The deal with FME gives it first look on all of EMTV’s commissioned programmes to distribute globally.
Oakes commented: "I’ve long been an admirer of the FME business and when building our TV arm, working with David and the FME team was top of our list. Our aim at Exclusive Media Television with this partnership is to build a successful scripted television business alongside our existing feature film operation."

Helmed by Co-Chairmen Nigel Sinclair and Guy East, Exclusive Media is a major force in the film production and international distribution arena. END OF WATCH produced by Exclusive Media with John Lesher and director David Ayer and starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Michael Peña opened at number one in the box office on September 21st through Open Road Films, and will enjoy a re-opening December 7th.
Exclusive Media’s current productions include the recently wrapped CAN A SONG SAVE YOUR LIFE? starring Keira Knightley, Mark Ruffalo, Hailee Steinfeld, Adam Levine, CeeLo Green, James Corden and Catherine Keener directed by John Carney (ONCE); and Hammer’s THE QUIET ONES directed by John Pogue and starring Jared Harris and Sam Claflin.
Also in post-production is Ron Howard’s epic feature film RUSH starring Chris Hemsworth and Daniel Brühl produced with production partners Cross Creek Pictures, Imagine Entertainment, Working Title, Brian Grazer, and Revolution Films with Universal Pictures set to release theatrically in the US on September 20th, 2013; and SNITCH starring Dwayne Johnson and Susan Sarandon to be released by Lionsgate/Summit Entertainment on February 22nd, 2013; and teen action comedy SO UNDERCOVER starring Miley Cyrus to be released on February 5th, 2013 through Millennium Entertainment.
