PSI Audio To Showcase Studio Monitors And Active Bass Trap
PSI Audio will present a range of studio monitor speakers and its AVAA C214 active bass trap at AES Show Nashville 2026, taking place from 31 October to 1 November at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Centre in Nashville, Tennessee.
The Swiss manufacturer will exhibit at booth 508 alongside Eleven Dimensions Media, showcasing three monitor systems spanning nearfield monitoring to full-sized main monitors, alongside its active acoustic treatment technology.
Studio monitors span nearfield to main systems
The line-up will include the A17-M compact nearfield monitor, the A23-M three-way monitor and the A226-MAIN main monitoring system.
The A17-M is designed for nearfield applications across a range of production environments, while the A23-M offers a three-way configuration in a relatively compact format. At the larger end of the range, the A226-MAIN is designed for main monitoring applications.
According to PSI Audio, the models share a consistent sonic character, allowing different monitors from the range to be combined in complex studio configurations, including Dolby Atmos environments. The company’s all-analogue designs are intended to deliver accurate sound reproduction without coloration.
AVAA C214 targets low-frequency room resonances
PSI Audio will also demonstrate the AVAA C214, part of its Active Velocity Acoustic Absorber range, which is designed to address low-frequency room resonances.
The system works by creating an acoustic impedance that allows it to absorb resonant energy across a broad frequency range without requiring conventional tuning. Unlike treatments designed primarily around a specific listening position, PSI Audio says the AVAA technology operates across the room.
The manufacturer also states that the system can deliver absorption performance comparable to a traditional porous absorber up to 45 times its size, offering an alternative to conventional acoustic treatment where space is limited.
