Visionary Solutions And tvONE Partner

Visionary Solutions has partnered with tvONE to combine its 5 Series AV-over-IP platform with tvONE’s CALICO PRO video processing capabilities, enabling integrators to route, process and distribute video across networked AV systems.

The integration allows video from a Visionary network to be routed to CALICO PRO for processing and display. Visionary 5 Series Decoders deliver HDMI signals to the processor’s inputs, while its HDMI outputs can connect to Visionary 5 Series Encoders for distribution back across the network.

tvONE's engineering team tested Visionary endpoints with its input and output modules, assessing resolutions, frame rates, Extended Display Identification Data (EDID) and visual image quality. The testing confirmed interoperability across the configurations evaluated, including the transmission of 4K video over a gigabit network.

"Integrators need to know how products will work together across the complete signal path," said Scott Freshman, chief operating officer for Visionary. "Our work with tvONE provides a validated connection between Visionary's AV-over-IP distribution and CALICO PRO's video processing, whether they are bringing sources into a video wall or distributing its output to other displays."

The combined solution is designed to support applications requiring centralised video processing and distribution, including control rooms and large-scale display environments.

In control room deployments, the workflow allows sources from different locations across the network to feed a centralised processor. CALICO PRO manages the arrangement of content across a video wall, while Visionary’s 5 Series platform transports signals between source locations, the processor and remote displays.

The partnership is intended to give integrators a tested connection between AV-over-IP distribution and video processing, helping simplify system design for installations that require content to be routed, arranged and redistributed across multiple displays.
