dzjinius To Unveil On-Set Production Platform

dzjinius will showcase its new dzjinius on-set application at IBC 2026, bringing real-time production data capture and operational visibility to the studio floor.

The all-in-one production management platform for the media and entertainment industry will demonstrate the new tablet-first application at the RAI Amsterdam from September 11 to 14. Visitors can see dzjinius on-set alongside the company's wider production management platform on stand 1.B01.

Designed for 2nd Assistant Directors, Script Supervisors and Heads of Production, dzjinius on-set is intended to address the disconnect between production offices and shooting locations.

While production offices typically work with structured, connected data, information captured on set can often rely on spreadsheets, messaging platforms, standalone applications and handwritten notes. dzjinius said this can result in delays, duplicated work and inaccuracies in reporting.

The new application connects on-set activity directly with the dzjinius production database, allowing information planned in the production office to flow to the set and data captured during filming to be returned to the wider system without manual re-entry.

Dzjinius on-set enables production teams to capture information in real time during the shooting day, including daily reports, schedule tracking and scene-level data. The structured information remains connected across the production workflow from pre-production through to post-production.

Unlike PDF-based markup tools, the application is designed to work directly with live production data. Its planned annotation layer will link notes to structured information such as scenes, schedules and characters, allowing data to remain traceable as schedules change or production versions are updated.

The application has been developed for demanding production environments, with online-first performance and offline functionality for locations with limited connectivity. It is aimed particularly at continuing drama productions, while also supporting high-end drama, limited series and feature films.

At launch, dzjinius on-set will include daily production reports, live production visibility, a live call sheet and script and scene delivery on tablet devices.

Further functionality is planned for 2027, including the annotation layer, continuity capture and feeds into post-production workflows.

The launch comes as production companies increasingly adopt digital and mobile-first workflows designed to improve real-time visibility and reduce administrative workloads.

By connecting the studio floor directly to the production database, dzjinius aims to create a single source of production information while reducing manual data entry and the potential for errors across departments.

IBC 2026 will run from September 11 to 14 at RAI Amsterdam, with dzjinius demonstrating its production management technology at stand 1.B01.
