Midwich Ignite Invests In Forte AI
Midwich Ignite has announced an investment in Forte AI, an artificial intelligence-powered automation platform designed for professional audio production environments.
Founded in 2024, Forte AI develops tools aimed at helping audio engineers, producers and studios reduce the time spent on repetitive tasks within mixing and production workflows. The platform offers native integration with industry-standard software including Pro Tools and Logic Pro, positioning it within the core of the professional audio production market.
The investment forms part of Midwich Ignite's wider strategy to support emerging technologies that address workflow challenges across the professional media and entertainment industries.
Forte AI's platform uses automation to streamline a range of labour-intensive studio processes, including session organisation, stem exporting and batch processing in music production. In film, television and commercial post-production, it also supports the import and preparation of AAF and PTX sessions.
According to the company, these tools can reduce hours of manual setup work to a matter of minutes, allowing audio professionals to focus more on creative output rather than administrative tasks.
Alex Kemanes, Managing Director at Midwich Ignite, said: "Forte AI is addressing a major productivity challenge within professional audio production. Engineers and studios are under constant pressure to deliver faster turnaround times while maintaining exceptional quality. Forte's intelligent automation technology has the potential to significantly improve efficiency without disrupting the workflows that professionals already rely on."
The Forte platform is designed to integrate directly into existing studio templates and production environments, enabling faster mix preparation, simplified export processes and improved consistency across sessions without requiring changes to established workflows.
It operates using a proprietary on-device AI engine that processes audio locally, meaning sensitive or unreleased material does not leave the user’s machine.
As demand for content production continues to grow across music, broadcast, post-production and live entertainment sectors, workflow automation is becoming an increasingly important focus for studios and production teams seeking to improve efficiency while maintaining creative output.
