LTN And Harmonic Expand Partnership
LTN has expanded its technology partnership with Harmonic to support broadcasters and cable networks preparing for reduced C-band satellite capacity following an upcoming Federal Communications Commission auction.
The collaboration brings together Harmonic’s VOS®360 Media SaaS and XOS Advanced Media Processor with LTN’s managed global IP network, creating an integrated solution designed to support large-scale migration from satellite to IP-based distribution. The combined offering is aimed at MVPDs, virtual MVPDs and local broadcasters navigating the transition.
"The industry has moved beyond debating whether the shift from satellite to IP will happen. It is happening already. Expanding our partnership with Harmonic allows us to deliver a proven, scalable distribution infrastructure model that gives our customers confidence without compromise," said Malik Khan, Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of LTN. "Together, we're enabling customers to execute C-band migration with the reliability and operational visibility required for mission critical services, while accelerating multiple types of monetization and customization."
As available C-band spectrum declines, the expanded partnership is intended to provide broadcasters with a structured pathway to transition to IP while maintaining service continuity. The solution supports hybrid migration strategies, advanced video processing, targeted advertising and large-scale channel deployment within a managed environment.
"Programmers are under increasing pressure to scale digital distribution while navigating the realities of C-band spectrum changes. By deepening our partnership with LTN, we're combining Harmonic’s advanced video processing and monetization technologies with a proven, fully managed IP network to deliver a seamless path forward," said Gil Rudge, Senior Vice President, Solutions and Americas sales, Video Business at Harmonic. "Together, we are ensuring that broadcasters can seamlessly migrate away from legacy satellite infrastructure while maintaining flexibility, high performance and broadcast-grade service reliability for primary distribution."
The partnership builds on earlier work demonstrated at the NAB Show 2025, where integration of LTN Playout with Harmonic VOS360 Media was used to support FAST channel distribution and monetisation. Updated workflows focusing on IP-based transport stream delivery and edge content customisation will be showcased at the NAB Show 2026.
LTN currently distributes more than 80 million hours of live content annually across its network and works with major broadcasters and organisations including TelevisaUnivision, MSG Networks, World Surf League and Major League Volleyball.
LTN and Harmonic will demonstrate the integrated solution at the 2026 NAB Show, April 19-22 in booths W2100 and W2831.
