LTN And Ateme Partner To Advance IP-Based Live Video Delivery

LTN and Ateme have announced a new partnership to deliver integrated video processing and global IP transport, enabling broadcasters and sports organisations to deliver live content at scale using fully IP-based workflows.

The collaboration integrates Ateme's TITAN Live and TITAN Edge platforms with the LTN Network, providing a combined solution for high-quality video contribution and distribution. The partnership comes as broadcasters and rights holders continue to shift away from traditional satellite distribution in favour of more flexible and scalable IP-based infrastructure.

By combining advanced video processing with a fully managed global network, the companies aim to support the delivery of premium live content with greater efficiency and reliability.

"Broadcasters, programmers, networks, and cable MSO's are no longer evaluating IP distribution — they are operating it at scale," said Malik Khan, Executive Chairman and Co-Founder of LTN. "By combining Ateme's advanced processing capabilities with the LTN Network, we’re enabling customers to deliver premium live content with the quality, reliability, and flexibility required for modern broadcast workflows."

The integration allows Ateme's platforms to connect directly to the LTN Network, supporting features such as high-quality encoding, frame-rate conversion, and motion-compensated processing as part of end-to-end IP contribution workflows.

"Broadcasters and sports organisations are looking for solutions that deliver the highest video quality while supporting the industry's transition to IP," said Julien Mandel, Senior Director, Solutions Management for Contribution & Distribution Markets at Ateme. "Our collaboration with LTN brings together Ateme’s advanced video processing with a proven global IP network, enabling customers to deliver premium live content reliably and efficiently at scale."

The two companies have already been working together across a number of initiatives as broadcasters modernise their distribution infrastructure. Ateme technology is currently deployed within a major US broadcast network as part of ongoing IP workflow development.

In addition, LTN and Ateme are conducting a live workflow evaluation with a leading European sports organisation, combining their technologies to support high-quality contribution and global delivery of live sports content.

The deeper integration between the two platforms is expected to be commercially available in 2026, marking a further step forward in the industry's transition to IP-based broadcasting.
