AEQ Brings Capitol IP Plus To ISE 2026

News Image
Barcelona will host ISE 2026 from 3–6 February, where AEQ will be on stand 4J800 with its Capitol IP PLUS digital console.

Aimed at on-air production, the unit seeks to combine power, flexibility and reliability with a compact footprint and straightforward operation.

The surface features 10 faders and an ergonomic touchscreen, driven by the M_CORE PLUS engine. Internal expansion options include a redundant power supply, a hybrid digital telephony interface, and a Dante module providing up to 32 IP channels.

For audio shaping, it offers a 4‑band parametric equaliser, dynamic filters and dynamics control. Live tools include automatic monitor muting, cough control, control signals, talkback/intercom, fader‑start and external device management via programmable keys, alongside other on‑air utilities.

Connectivity covers four microphone/line inputs with phantom power, configurable analogue I/O, AES/EBU digital, stereo USB, and AoIP (AES67/Dante) with bidirectional channels and synchronisation via AES/EBU and Dante. Bluetooth supports stereo audio playback or phone feeds, while multiple outputs and integrated headphone paths (control, primary and secondary) enable flexible monitoring.

Remote operation is available through the Virtual Capitol app, which mirrors the console’s surface on a PC to manage faders, equalisation, panning, preset recalls and special functions anywhere on the network.

Designed for quiet, robust service, the console uses convection cooling, supports redundant power configurations and provides multiple monitoring outputs (CUE, headphones, configurable VU meters). It also supports automatic start‑up, restoring previous settings or defaults. AEQ invites visitors to see Capitol IP PLUS at ISE 2026, stand 4J800.
