AEQ Showcases Capitol IP PLUS, Xpeak And Xplorer MAX

AEQ will exhibit at CABSAT 2026 from 5–7 October at Dubai Exhibition Centre, highlighting three core solutions on stand H1-D55, S19: the CAPITOL IP PLUS compact digital console for radio and television, the Xpeak IP intercom, and the Xplorer MAX wireless intercom terminal.

By attending CABSAT, AEQ underscores its focus on agile, scalable systems that meet the demands of contemporary workflows, where IP connectivity, integration and operational efficiency are central.

CAPITOL IP PLUS delivers high performance in an ultra‑compact footprint, purpose‑built for live control across varied broadcast workflows and environments. The 10‑fader surface with integrated touchscreen is complemented by advanced audio tools, including a 4‑band parametric equaliser, filters and dynamics. With up to 32 summing buses for programme, auxiliary, monitoring and clean feeds, plus local IP and Dante/AES67 networking, it is designed for modern, scalable installations.

The console also offers the Virtual Capitol option for remote operation from a PC, Bluetooth connectivity for communications control, and broadcast essentials such as on‑air signalling, cough suppressor, fader start, talkback and automation of external equipment.

Xpeak is a distributed Audio over IP intercom devised to streamline communication and coordination in television production and other professional settings. Its matrix‑less architecture enables hardware and software panels to function within a single virtual network, whether co‑located in a production centre or spread across sites via Internet or WAN links.

As a plug‑and‑play platform, Xpeak automatically discovers connected devices for rapid deployment of local or distributed systems. It supports up to 28 devices, offers multiple operating modes including virtual matrix and 4‑channel Party Line, and can integrate with existing AEQ intercom systems such as ConeXia and CrossNET. A broad choice of user panels, beltpacks and interfaces allows flexible configurations to suit differing production needs.

Xplorer MAX is a wireless intercom beltpack combining 5 GHz digital radio with features tailored for professional production. It incorporates interference control, dynamic frequency switching, carrier aggregation and Quality of Service with voice prioritisation to maintain clear, reliable communications.

The beltpack works with AEQ intercom matrices including Conexia, CrossNET and TH5000, integrates with Xpeak matrix‑less systems, or can act as a terminal within the Easynet Party‑Line system. With up to four shortcut keys across configurable pages, two additional programmable keys and a multifunction display, it provides flexible control. The radio system supports up to 50 users per base station and a range of up to 600 metres in open field, while an IP67 rating suits both indoor and outdoor use.
