Ross Video Solutions Claim ISE Awards

News Image
Ross Video has been recognised with three prestigious awards from ISE (Integrated Systems Europe) 2021.

The company's Graphite PPC (Portable Production Center) and Ultrix Carbonite were announced as winners following events in Barcelona and London. These products were among a host of industry-leading solutions on display to the welcome return of physical visitors.

AV Technology and Sound & Video Contractor awarded the Graphite PPC a 'Best of Show' title for ISE 2021, bringing the total number of trophies for Graphite PPC to nine. Initially designed as a 'grab and go' solution for smaller productions or studios, the onset of the pandemic in 2020 caused national networks and syndicated productions to reach for the Graphite PPC because of its portability, powerful feature set and ease of use.

The Ultrix Carbonite, launched in May of this year, saw Ross combine the innovative Ultrix routing and AV processing solution with Carbonite – the world's most successful midsize production switcher family – to create a new hyper-converged production platform that consumes less power, takes up less space, and requires less cooling compared with the equivalent racks of equipment it can replace. AV Contractor has awarded Ultrix Carbonite a 'Best in Market' accolade, and sister publication Sound & Video Contractor has handed it a 'Best of Show' award for ISE 2021.

Nigel Spratling, Vice President of Production Switchers & Video Servers, is delighted that both solutions have been recognised during this important transition period. "Both of these solutions were launched during the pandemic. They were already in our roadmap plans and they meet the need for increased value and efficiency – existing industry trends that have only been amplified by the pandemic and the particular challenges it has posed. I'm really pleased to accept these three awards on behalf of the relevant product teams – they're very welcome icing that tops off the positive feedback we’ve had from our customers."
