Ross Video Secures Two Best Of Show Awards At IBC2026

Ross Video has been honoured with two Best of Show awards at IBC2026, recognising advances across its media infrastructure and graphics portfolios.

The newly introduced Ultrix FR30 received TVBEurope’s Best of Show award, while XPression Chameleon was named a Best of Show winner by TV Tech.

The recognition comes as Ross Video showcases a raft of new products and software updates spanning its live production range at the show.

Launched at IBC2026, Ultrix FR30 is the largest addition to the Ultrix hyperconverged media infrastructure family. Designed for enterprise-grade broadcast and live production, the 30RU chassis supports up to 576×576 UHD I/O and unifies routing, multiviewing, signal processing, media gateway functionality, production switching, screen processing and control within a single software-defined platform.

"Ultrix FR30 is really the next evolution of a platform that customers have been asking us to scale for years," said Todd Riggs, Senior Director, Product Management – Hyperconverged Solutions, Ross Video. "As productions get larger and more complex, customers need more I/O, more processing, and support for more transport types, but they also need to keep that environment manageable. That’s what hyperconvergence is really about: bringing all of those capabilities together to improve efficiency in space, power, cabling, cost, and day-to-day operation. To have FR30 recognized with a Best of Show Award at IBC is a great validation of both the platform and the customer demand that drove us to build it."

XPression Chameleon brings HTML5 output to existing XPression workflows, enabling teams to build graphics once and deliver them across multiple platforms. The on‑premises solution extends familiar XPression graphics pipelines to new destinations without requiring a subscription.

"Graphics are no longer created for just one screen or one destination, and Chameleon is about making it easier for XPression customers to adapt to that reality," said Andrew Windish, Product Manager – Streaming Graphics, Ross Video. "It allows users to take the graphics and workflows they already know and extend them to HTML5 outputs without having to rebuild everything from the ground up. Having Chameleon recognized with a Best of Show Award at IBC is an exciting validation of the direction we're taking."

Together, the awards highlight innovation from core infrastructure for large-scale production environments to the graphics workflows used to create and distribute content.

It caps a significant IBC2026 for Ross Video, which has introduced new products and updates across media infrastructure, replay, sports analysis, production switching, automation, robotics, control, graphics and audio.
