Ross Video Expands Options With Carbonite

Ross Video’s Carbonite mid-size production switchers are expanding their options with the ViewControl and DashBoard’s LiveAssist.
ViewControl provides a powerful way for any level of experience operator to create a professional production with the touch of a finger.

DashBoard LiveAssist offers Carbonite users additional soft control and set up interfaces via the Ross Video DashBoard Control System. It provides a simple, yet efficient, user interface for key settings, MediaWipe management and more. LiveAssist is currently shipping and is a free downloadable upgrade for existing Carbonite users.
The Carbonite series of production switchers includes two choices on panel size combined with a 16 or 24 input chassis. Carbonite packs 4 channels of DVE, 4 keyers per MLE and 4 channels of Media-Store into a tiny 2RU chassis. Carbonite’s 1 or 2 MLE panels both offer full panel mnemonics, Ross ‘PanelGlow’ RGB buttons and of course those legendary Ross faders that are guaranteed for life.
