Flying TV To Exhibit At BSC Expo 2017

Flying TV has fast become one of the most respected stabilised aerial filming providers in the UK.

With more than 14 years experience shooting stunning images for the Film and Television industry, we specialise in tailoring lower-cost packages for the independent sector, bringing affordable, cinema quality aerials within the reach of the tightest budgets.

2016 saw a big investment in both new helicopter mounted gimbals and also high end drone technology.

We now fly the brilliant GSS C516 gimbal on both the single engine Robinson R44 and twin engine Airbus 355 helicopters.

Available camera options include the RED Weapon, ARRI Alexa Mini and Canon C300MKII. Lens options include the Canon 14.5-60, Angenieux Optimo 25-250 and Canon 50-1000.

In addition to UK based helicopter work, our GSS is available with an aerial DP/tech anywhere in the world.

The whole system, including the helicopter mount, packs down into six sub-32KG flight cases that can travel as excess baggage, saving the headache of freight.

Unlike Cineflex products, the gyro technology used in the GSS is not subject to ITAR restrictions which means we can travel to countries that would otherwise not be possible.

And once you're there, prepping for the shoot can be done in less than two hours, reducing the need for dedicated rig days.

Flying TV now also operates a fleet of filming drones. Our heavy lift aircraft is the fabulous Freefly Alta 8 married to the MoVi M15 gimbal.

This combination will happily fly most of the current, compact, large sensor cameras with either prime or zoom lenses.

Recent helicopter and drone credits include commercials for Jaguar, Seat, Virgin, HSBC & Audi, drama for Five Daughters, A Mother's Son, New Tricks & Casualty and music promos for Ed Sheeran & Take That.
