Blue Turtle install Avid Unity LANshare network
LONDON post production house Blue Turtle have become the first facility in the country to install the new Unity LANshare - the latest addition to the Avid Unity family of shared storage and networking solutions for digital media production.
The new Unity LANshare network will serve Blue Turtle's three offline Avid suites, all now upgraded to the latest iteration of Media Composer.
Managing director Graham Carr said: "The latest Unity shared-storage network enables us to deliver a greater level of efficiency and improved workflow to our clients. While the advantages will be immediately apparent to our broadcast clients, there are also significant advantages for the corporate sector as they will be able to create different versions of their messages simultaneously.”
Blue Turtle have been involved in a wide range of broadcast styles, including Delia Smith's ‘How to Cook’, ‘Harry Enfield And Yule Log Chums’ for Tiger Aspect and four series of ‘Your Money Or Your Life’ for Talkback. (GMcG)
