High Wire upgrade with Avid Unity

After focusing on upgrades to their online and graphics departments earlier in the year, including the installation of an Avid DS suite, Dublin post house High Wire haven't forgotten the importance of offline editing.
To that end they recently installed Avid Unity, a system which allows for the sharing of media and projects across several edit suites simultaneously.
The system is already proving itself by allowing multiple editors to work on the same project at the same time and by also allowing High Wire's assistant editors to digitise and manage source footage without the need to interrupt an edit session or tie up an edit suite.
High Wire already enjoys an unsurpassed reputation in offline editing and will now be able to offer clients even more speed, convenience and flexibility in this area. The offline suites are networked to the online suites (both Avid Media Composer and DS) and to the graphics suites allowing for the seem-less transfer of projects from initial logging to final mastering.
