Avitel announce plans for IBC 2003

Avitel will be exhibiting on stand 2.300 at IBC 2003,held at the RAI Centre, Amsterdam, from September 12-16.
Avitel produces a wide range of interface products for broadcast transmission and monitoring. Supported signal formats include ASI, analogue and digital audio/video. Functions offered in the Avitel range include timecode write/read, signal switching, signal conversion, EDH, embedding/extraction and distribution.
All Avitel-manufactured equipment is covered by unconditional guarantee.
On show and in full production are two new timecode products offering high sensivity and user-selectable field-based as well as frame-based operation. The TRE3581K timecode reader/inserter is a successor to the TRE3381. Model TGE3582K is a VITC to LTC translator and LTC generator succeeding the TGE3382. The new designs incorporate several extra features including on-screen operating menu, date insertion (hours/minutes/seconds) and choice of four text sizes with white-on-black or black-on-ghost display. Text can be located anywhere on the preview monitor screen.
The TPR1050K 1U timecode generator/reader/processor, previewed at IBC 2002, is now in full production. A successor to the very popular TPR1040K, the TPR1050K offers more facilities and greater flexibility yet is easier to deploy. The complex set-up needed for the 1040K is replaced by a much simpler system. In some cases, only one menu selection is needed for complete set-up. The extreme flexibility provided by the previous way of setting up each parameter is still there when required.
The TPR1050K control menu will be available in alternative languages.
