YouTube Secure FORScene License

A deal has been struck between web video giant -YouTube- and the company behind the market leading Cloud-based video platform.
Forbidden Technologies has, in what they are calling a "major breakthrough", licensed their Cloud-based video platform FORscene, to the Google-owned web video company.
FORscene will provide the Cloud editing element in a larger integrated system. It will be used by YouTube to support remote video editing and publishing for web and broadcast delivery.
In September, Forbidden Technologies told Stockopedia that the growing popularity of FORscene in the broadcast post-production market was a sign that the industry was beginning to embrace a new generation of technology.
Since then, the company has signed deals with a series of UK production companies including Princess Productions, Wall to Wall and Twenty Twenty as well as confidential contracts for high profile TV productions.
