Signiant To Offer Webcast On Secure And Effective B2B Digital Content Exchange

Signiant, a leading developer of content supply chain management solutions, has announced that it will offer a webcast entitled Protecting Media Assets in the Digital Age: Best Practices for Secure and Effective Content Exchange.
Presented by Tony Lapolito, Signiant's Vice President of Product Management and Marketing, the webcast will take place on March 15 at 2pm GMT and again at 2pm EST.
Lapolito said: "In order to take advantage of the new opportunities afforded by the digital revolution, companies in all industries are building global collaboration networks and partnerships that depend on the seamless exchange of content with their business partners. At the same time, they have justified concerns about the security of their valuable digital assets.
"In this webcast, we'll describe the requirements for secure and effective content exchange outside the bounds of the enterprise. We'll show how these requirements can be met with a centrally managed file transfer solution that enables a secure exchange of digital assets, to open up new revenue streams and deliver significant cost savings and efficiencies."
Responsible for guiding Signiant's overall market strategy, Lapolito has more than 18 years of experience in the networking and video industries - including executive management positions at VidSys, Cisco, SightPath, Artel Video Systems and 3Com.
At Cisco, he managed the company's Application and Content Networking division, where he oversaw the successful integration of the SightPath, Arrowpoint, Tasmania Networks and Precept Software acquisitions, while realising substantial revenue growth.
