Globecast Debuts Oracle-Powered Content Exchange Platform At StreamTV Show

Globecast has launched its Content Exchange platform, powered by Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), unveiling the cloud-enabled solution at the StreamTV Show in Denver from 16–19 June. The service targets scalable OTT and live streaming operations by simplifying end-to-end workflows.

The move marks a key step in Globecast's shift from traditional signal transport to a cloud-first, full-service media operations partner. Content Exchange introduces a unified orchestration layer that connects satellite, fibre, IP and cloud workflows into a single operational framework, supporting any acquisition and delivery approach under consideration for C-Band replacement in North America.

Fully integrated with OCI, the platform harnesses high-performance, multi-cloud infrastructure to provide low-latency transport, scalable processing and cost-efficient media movement at global scale. It enables streaming platforms and content owners to adopt cloud-based or hybrid distribution models without sacrificing reliability or performance.

The platform is already proven in live production, with Premier Padel becoming the first major sports organisation to deploy it. By switching from traditional satellite delivery to an IP- and cloud-based workflow, Premier Padel can manage multiple live feeds more efficiently and deliver tailored content to rights holders worldwide.

Content Exchange underpins Globecast's strategy to cut operational complexity and accelerate time to market. Acting as a single accountable partner, the company manages workflows across acquisition, production, playout and distribution, supporting use cases from live event streaming and remote production to cloud playout and large-scale OTT delivery.
