Fremantle Appoints Head Of Digital And Branded Content

Fremantle has announced the appointment of Adam Middleton as Head of Digital and Branded Content, heading a newly created division aimed at driving digital innovation and commercial growth across the company.

In his new role, Middleton will lead Fremantle UK's digital and commercial strategy, ensuring that digital-first thinking remains central to the company’s approach. He will work across media, creative, and brand partnerships to foster collaboration and innovation, opening new opportunities for growth.

Fremantle's digital production team will now report to Middleton and will be led by Jamie Crossan, who assumes the newly established position of Head of Digital Production, Fremantle UK. Crossan and his team have been instrumental in the success of IPs such as Britain’s Got Talent, Blankety Blank, and Too Hot To Handle.

Middleton will also oversee the continued evolution of Fremantle UK's commercial strategy, expanding beyond traditional production models and reinforcing the company's role as a leading creative partner for media owners and brands seeking impactful content across all platforms.

He said: "I'm thrilled to be joining Fremantle, a powerhouse in entertainment production, at such a pivotal time in the industry. The business has leveraged digital channels effectively for years, and it’s a great time to come on board to drive further growth in this space, with a focus on building new IP, collaborating with creators and partnering with advertisers."
