Blakeway Wins First Commissions From Nobel Media

A Ten Alps company, Blakeway Productions, has won a double commission from Nobel Media AB to produce the Nobel Highlights programme and a documentary portraying the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize Laureate.
The Nobel Highlights programme will offer a unique insight into the work of the men and women who make up this year's Nobel Laureates. As well as interviews with the Laureates, the documentary will include footage from the Nobel Prize Award Ceremonies in Oslo and Stockholm.
The Nobel Peace Prize documentary will feature this year's Peace Prize Laureate who will join the ranks of previous Laureates including Martin Luther King, Mother Teresa and Nelson Mandela.
The Nobel Prize is awarded to men and women who have made outstanding achievements in the fields of physics, chemistry, physiology or medicine, literature, peace and economics. Regarded as one of the world's most prestigious awards, the names of the 2009 Laureates will be announced in October and the Nobel Prize Award Ceremonies will be held on December 10.

The documentary is commissioned by Tamzen Isacsson, Head of Production and Distribution at Nobel Media and executive produced by Fiona Stourton for Blakeway. The documentaries will be distributed internationally by Nobel Media. The productions will be completed and ready for distribution from the end of November 2009.
