Ianiro UK Ltd Moves To Larger Premises

Ianiro UK Ltd has moved to a larger premises with space for additional stock and a permanent, fully equipped showroom.
The Redditch-based company, which specialises in camera and lighting support systems, is the UK distributor for all Ianiro products and the European distributor for Libec. Its range also includes ABC Cranes and Dollies, Luggy bags and cases, Kupo grip equipment and California Sunbounce light reflection systems.
Ianiro UK’s Managing Director, Nick Allen-Miles, said: "Since starting the company four years ago, we have significantly expanded our product range and the amount of stock we now carry made a move to larger premises imperative. We simply outgrew our old building.
"The new premise on Manorside Industrial Estate is three times larger than our old premises and has space for a much needed demo facility and showroom. We now have cranes and truss systems on permanent display, which means that customers can try out various alternatives before deciding on the right system for their needs."
Ianiro UK has also launched a new and expanded website providing comprehensive information about the company’s entire product range. Stock levels are clearly indicated, making it much easier for customers to shop on-line, and dealers are given their own unique log-in that allows them to access their agreed pricing structure and track orders once they are placed.
"This investment in the company’s infrastructure reflects our positive attitude to the future,” Allen-Miles adds. "Our customer base is expanding all the time and now covers over 20 countries. 64% of our business is export, which is why it is so vital that our on-line ordering system works quickly and efficiently. We are also continuing to expand our range and with a number of innovative new products being introduced during 2008, we feel confident that we will achieve further growth."
Among these new products are a range of LED lights from Ianiro (winner of a Best of IBC2007 Editor’s Award from TVB Europe). Initially targeted at location shooting, the new range is the culmination of three years research into correcting the white balance problems that have previously caused difficulty with this technology. To solve the blue and green bias that makes existing white LEDS look cold, Ianiro has carefully blended selected, latest generation LEDs to create lights that achieve a colour temperature of 5600K – the standard for traditional day lights. These new LEDs deliver a very high Colour Rendering Index, making them colour enhancing without the use of a gel or filter.
The initial range, which is ready to ship, includes LED 6 and LED 7 (with six and seven LEDs respectively), and LED 54, which has three individual rings of lights that can be used as one large but flexible light or split into three lights. Ianiro plans to follow these with a range of studio LED soft lights.
