NIFTC Host Free Media Event In Belfast

The NIFTC is hosting a unique event on Tuesday November 21 in Belfast - a NEW MEDIA workshop, aimed at Northern Ireland's burgeoning sector.
Speaking at the event will be Anthony Lilley of Magic Lantern, producers of innovative interactive media, ranging from rich media websites to mobile games, digital video to DVD, through to content and rights management systems. Working with clients and partners in the media, technology and public service sectors, including Channel 4, BBC, BT, Tiscali, the UK Film Council, Skillset and many others; all specialising in understanding the power of broadband networks and emerging digital platforms, for the creation, presentation, distribution and sharing of ideas.
Lilley will give a presentation on new media together with a case study on FourDocs, the user-generated broadband channel. The event will cover content, distribution platforms and user interaction.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to avail of ‘speed dating’ sessions with a range of contributors including: Anthony Lilley, BBC Northern Ireland, RTÉ, TG4, BCI and the NIFTC.
This will be a full day event and there are a limited number of places, so please book early to avoid disappointment.
