FremantleMedia Announce Deal With Media 10 To Launch A Live 'Property Ladder' Event

Hot off the back of yet another highly successful 'Grand Designs Live' at ExCel London, which saw an impressive 44,000 visitors through the doors over three days, FremantleMedia Enterprises (FME) has announced another deal with Media 10 to launch a live event based on the hugely popular talkbackTHAMES-created TV series for Channel 4, 'Property Ladder'.
FME's deal with Media 10 grants them rights to create and manage 'Property Ladder Live', a consumer event specifically targeting the property development market, which is set to launch at the NEC Birmingham in October. Property Ladder Live is a three day event that aims to appeal to both those who are fans of the TV show as well as aiming to attract a new audience of individuals who are keen to add value to their property by enhancing its condition. The exhibition, which will feature the TV show's host, Sarah Beeny, will enable consumers to interact with experts, witness live demonstrations and meet with suppliers. Property Ladder Live will run alongside Grand Designs Live, which returns to the NEC for the second year running.
In a separate agreement, FME has licensed rights to Tigerprint to develop a Property Ladder board game which will launch exclusively in Marks & Spencer stores nationwide from October, coinciding with the live event. The aim of the game is to renovate three houses and it's up to the player as to whether they start with most expensive house or the least, by landing on the development squares and paying for each of the renovations one at a time. The person who fully develops each house successfully, sells them on and makes the most money, wins.
