Creative Process Showcases Skillset Apprenticeship To Media Employers At BFI Event

London-based training provider, Creative Process, will be bringing together a range of the UK's most exciting media companies and young apprentices to showcase the Advanced Apprenticeship in Creative and Digital Media at the BFI Southbank on Friday, February 11.
The Apprenticeship, which was designed by Skillset, provides a 21st-century twist on the old apprenticeship model and will change the way young people find their way into the highly sought-after Creative Media Industries.
Meet leading employers and shortlisted apprentices and hear from them why they are using apprenticeships as a new pathway into the Creative Media Industries.
Jack Hiett, Apprenticeship Director at Creative Process, said: "We are passionate about the growth of the UK's creative and digital sector. We offer a free and complete bespoke 'one-stop-shop' apprenticeship delivery service that provides apprenticeship training programmes that is right for companies throughout the Creative Media Industries and helps to equip their employees with the very latest industry relevant skills in most creative and digital areas."
Skillset's Chief Executive Dinah Caine said: "These Skillset Apprenticeships are an exciting and innovative way for young people to enter the Creative Media Industries. Our hope is that these Apprenticeships will make our industries more accessible to young people from a diverse range of backgrounds. Not only will these apprentices be learning the most relevant and up-to-date skills in their chosen roles, they will also be forging valuable networks within their industries and earning a wage while they do it."
The event will take place at BFI Southbank from 3:30 - 6:30pm, Friday, February 11, 2011. To attend, please contact Nick Sheridan on: 0207 713 9854.
