Reflecmedia win Technical Innovation Award at Broadcast India

Reflecmedia, the UK-based chroma key specialist, have received the Broadcast India 2002 Award for ‘Technical Innovation’.
Chromatte, the company’s retro-reflective chroma key background, won the award ahead of new products from some of the most respected names in the broadcast industry.
“We especially pleased to win this award given the quality of products on display,”said Daniel Jordan-Killoran, Reflecmedia’s Channel Sales Manager for Asia, “This is the first time we have demonstrated the product in India and the reaction was astoundingly positive.”.
Chromatte is a lightweight fabric containing millions of tiny glass beads – these beads retro-reflect the source light, from a camera mounted LED LiteRing, directly back into the lens. This results in the camera seeing an evenly coloured background that can then be removed and replaced with an alternative image, during chroma key production.
