APT’s WorldNet Tokyo win prestigious broadcast award

Judges at broadcast exhibition BIRTV 2003 have honoured Belfast-based APT (Audio Processing Technology) by presenting the codec manufacturer with the Most Expected Product of the Year award for its WorldNet Tokyo codec.
The WorldNet Tokyo, which was entered for the award by APT’s Chinese distributor Ding Ding Technologies Beijing, achieved the highest marks in the Transmission and RF Product Group.
Commenting on the award, APT’s Managing Director Noel McKenna said: “This is an honour for both of our companies and we are delighted that the judges at BIRTV have recognised the benefits the WorldNet Tokyo brings to the broadcast market.”
