FOLLOWING the success of their involvement in VideoForum in 2000, Datavision are exhibiting a range of innovative products based around DV and 1394 technologies.
Once again they will be showing the range of popular DV IN Enabling products - The DV Widget.
Video Forum 2001 will be the launch pad for the new 'All-in-One' DV IN enabling device which will enable DV IN on a range of Sony, Panasonic, Canon and JVC camcorders all in the one single unit, plus giving device control to the camcorder from the PC. Using the PC Widget together with the new Datavision DV Pan & Tilt unit, videographers will now be able to control not only zoom and record functions, but also the ability to set automatic start and stop points within a near infinite range of vertical and horizontal camera positions.
Another new product for Video Forum 2001 will be a 1394 networking package called FireNet. Offering the ability to link together both PC and Apple devices with a single 1394 compliant cable, Datavision believe this product to be the ideal single source for all media rich content required to be distributed around a LAN. On the Wednesday afternoon of the Show, Tim Liggins, MD of Datavision Ltd, will be giving a light hearted 'laymans view' talk on "FireNet - The Future of Video Networking - technology for successful co-working".
You can visit Datavision on Stand 204 at Video Forum 2001 and see for yourself how data files and digital information can be distributed at speeds exceeding four times those of traditional Ethernet systems, together with other new and innovative products from the world of 1394 and Digital Imaging.
