Fujifilm And ePac Strike Global Deal

Fujifilm announced a global strategic partnership with ePac Flexible Packaging, a leading specialist in digitally driven flexible packaging.

Central to the collaboration is the Fujifilm Jet Press FP790 water-based digital inkjet platform, which ePac will deploy to raise high-volume digital output, accelerate turnaround times and enhance cross-market scalability across its worldwide network, reinforcing Fujifilm’s drive to bring digital flexible packaging into the mainstream.

The initiative is intended to expand capacity and support brands of all sizes throughout their growth. The first installation will be in North America at ePac’s new state-of-the-art facility in Phoenix, Arizona, with additional systems planned for roll-out across ePac's global footprint in subsequent phases.

Purpose-built for high-volume flexible packaging, the Jet Press FP790 delivers premium graphics, outstanding colour consistency and compatibility with recyclable material structures. It offers 1200 x 1200 dpi resolution and covers more than 90% of the Pantone® colour gamut using eco-friendly, food-safe water-based inks. The platform will help ePac boost throughput while preserving the short-run, on-demand agility modern brands require, positioning the partners to serve both emerging and established customers seeking shorter lead times, localised production and scalable packaging solutions aligned with evolving market demands.
