Vinten To Showcase Flexible Camera Support Solutions

News Image
Vinten is set to showcase its latest manual and robotic camera support solutions at IBC2026, highlighting technology designed to help broadcasters manage increasingly complex live event productions.

The company will demonstrate its solutions at booth 13.A05 on 12 September, with a focus on supporting productions that need to deliver more content from multiple locations while working within crew, space and budget constraints.

Vinten's portfolio combines manual camera support for traditional outside broadcasts with robotic and PTZ systems designed to provide scalable production workflows.

Among the products on show will be the Versine 240 fluid head, which was launched at last year's IBC and joins the flagship Versine 360.

Designed for outside broadcast positions without a box lens, the Versine 240 supports payloads from 0-25kg (55lb). The lightweight fluid head is designed to provide balance and smooth movement for long-lens operation, including roaming OB positions, touchline coverage and live event productions.

Vinten will also demonstrate VEGA Lite, a PTZ control solution aimed at broadcasters creating temporary presentation studios, interview areas and analysis positions.

The system supports a range of broadcast PTZ cameras and robotic devices from a single control platform, allowing production teams to create unified workflows that can be adapted as requirements change.

The company will showcase supporting PTZ products including the Osprey Lite pedestal, adapted for direct PTZ camera mounting, and the robotic Tecnopoint Starter Ceiling Track.

The ceiling track is designed to provide smooth overhead PTZ camera movement while maximising available floor space, offering broadcasters additional flexibility when creating temporary presentation environments.

For permanent studio installations, Vinten will highlight the FP-188+ full XY robotic pedestal, controlled by the VEGA Control System.

The system incorporates intelligent mapping and enhanced onboard sensing to enable precise and repeatable camera movements while helping operators avoid potential collisions in busy studio environments.

The company said its range is designed to allow broadcasters to combine experienced camera operators with robotic cameras and PTZ systems according to the requirements of individual productions.

"Live production has never been more varied," said Ginny Grove, Product Marketing Director. "Alongside traditional event coverage, broadcasters are producing more analysis, interviews and digital content than ever before, often from temporary production spaces. At IBC, we're showing how our manual and robotic camera support solutions work together to give customers the flexibility to cover every part of the story, from the action itself to the studio."

Vinten's manual and robotic camera support solutions will be available to experience at booth 13.A05 during IBC2026.
