Netflix Begins Production On High Tides: The Film
Netflix has started production on High Tides: The Film, with shoots scheduled in Belgium, France and Thailand.
The feature continues the story of the popular series High Tides, whose three seasons collectively spent over 24 weeks in the Dutch Netflix Top 10. Returning cast members include Pommelien Thijs, Willem De Schryver, Nola Elvis Kemper, Ayana Doucouré, Kes Bakker, Jef Hellemans and Daan Schuurmans. A worldwide premiere on Netflix is targeted for 2027.
After a long journey around the world and a personal search for identity, Louise returns to Knokke, only to unsettle the delicate balance her friends have carefully rebuilt in her absence.
The film is produced by Dingie for Netflix, in collaboration with Dutch FilmWorks and with support from VRT.
