Pixel Academy Unveils Autumn Training Programme

ACT Entertainment's tvONE and Green Hippo Pixel Academy has published its autumn timetable, offering practical, one-day training across September, October and November.

The line-up includes “tvONE Advanced Video Wall Design and Configuration,” “Hippotizer MX Foundation: System Design and Core Operation,” and “Green Hippo Estuary MC Creative Control: Building and Running Live Visuals.”

tvONE Advanced Video Wall Design and Configuration will run on 16 September, 14 October and 10 November 2026. This immersive, one-day programme equips AV professionals to design, configure and deploy high-performance video wall systems. It covers dvLED display essentials, CALICO PRO hardware architecture, CALICO Studio software, preset programming and layout design, plus assessing system architecture for scalability and performance. Attendees receive a two-year certificate and 3.5 CTS renewal units. Hippotizer MX Foundation: System Design and Core Operation is scheduled for 22 September, 27 October and 18 November 2026. This one-day, hands-on course builds practical competency in specifying, configuring and operating Hippotizer MX Series Media Servers for live events, fixed installations and broader AV applications. Topics include core platform capabilities, project specifications, MX hardware and software setup, key workflow tools and methods for troubleshooting common media server issues. Intended participants include system designers and operators; AV distributors and sales engineers; broadcast and studio technicians; installation and integration specialists; and technical pre-sales professionals. Green Hippo Estuary MC Creative Control: Building and Running Live Visuals will take place on 23 September, 28 October and 17 November 2026. Focusing on the creative and operational strengths of Estuary MC, Green Hippo’s next-generation media controller, the one-day training guides participants through cue structuring, layered visual tools, real-time keying and adapting content to evolving LED designs via practical exercises and workflows. Targeted attendees include live event system designers and operators; AV distributors and sales engineers; broadcast and studio technicians; installation/integration specialists; and technical pre-sales professionals, with the goal of building confidence in crafting and controlling expressive, real-time visuals for productions and installations.
