NMR to provide Media 100 844/X content design system

New Media Research (NMR), a leading UK reseller of integrated solutions to the digital content creation and streaming industries, have been appointed as an authorised reseller of 844/X – Media 100's next-generation content design system.
NMR has already taken delivery of 844/X at its Soho facility and will be offering clients the first opportunity to see the multi-layered, uncompressed, 10-bit visual effects system at close quarters.

The 844/X is a new content design system from Media 100 that enables an integrated workflow of editing and visual effects design. The product derives its power from the groundbreaking GenesisEngine, a media super-computer platform designed and manufactured by Media 100. The GenesisEngine transforms a standard PC to deliver performance previously found only in extremely high-end proprietary systems, at a fraction of the cost of those systems.
