Crestron Utilises D-Tools System Integrator Software To Design Crestron Experience Centres

D-Tools, a leading provider of system integration software, has announced that Crestron, a leading provider of advanced home, campus and building control automation utilised D-Tools' award-winning System Integrator software for system design as part of their multi-million dollar interactive Design & Technology Experience Centre, located at the Crestron world headquarters in Rockleigh, NJ. The Crestron Experience Centre provides a fully interactive experience for architects, designers and integrators, to demonstrate the latest in automation technology and meet with Crestron executives and team members.
D-Tools System Integrator 5.5 was used to create detailed system designs for the fully functional, state-of-the-art rooms which demonstrate how the latest automation and audio video technology looks, sounds and functions in a real-world environment. Detailed drawings were created to help communicate to the integrators and installers off the multi-room systems the precise location of the various systems to be installed, all of the components to be used, signal flow, rack contents and wiring detail.
System designs created in SI5.5 included Plan views, Elevations, Line diagrams and Schematics, which show the actual connections between the components and enabled the creation of installation reports for the Crestron team to reference as the systems were designed and installed throughout the centre.
