Qvest, Ateme And Scaleway Team Up On European Sovereign OTT

Qvest, Ateme and Scaleway have formed a partnership to deliver production-ready sovereign OTT platforms for broadcasters, media organisations and sports rights holders, using European technology throughout.

The joint proposition combines Scaleway's sovereign cloud infrastructure, Ateme's production-ready video technology, and Qvest's consultancy, systems integration and managed services expertise.

With European broadcasters facing tighter regulatory requirements and strategic pressure to reduce dependence on non-European cloud providers, the solution offers an end-to-end route to build and run a sovereign OTT service, covering ingest, encoding, packaging, content delivery, DRM, analytics and front-end integration.

Organisations can use the platform to launch new streaming services, migrate existing environments, or appoint Qvest as a managed service partner.
