LITE's Club Roots Marks Two Years

LITE marked the second anniversary of its flagship retro music series, Club Roots, with a celebration billed The Big Jam 2.0, drawing music lovers and longtime listeners for an evening steeped in 80s and 90s nostalgia.

Staged at Bund and Barrel in Petaling Jaya, the party featured sets from seasoned DJs Phat Fabes, Alfred, Adrian G, Jazzie Jay, Damian, Robert Mah, JD and Sheela, who kept the energy high with a soundtrack of dance-floor staples from the era.

Launched as a weekly radio programme spotlighting the golden age of 80s and 90s nightlife, Club Roots airs every Friday from 7.00 PM to 8.00 PM. The brand has since expanded into a live experience that salutes the music, culture and personalities of the time. Attendees enjoyed hours of back-to-back tunes, dancing, giveaways and surprises, reconnecting over a shared love of timeless hits.
