Udaipur's Club Roadies Installs Martin Audio Blackline X For Dining-By-Day, Clubbing-By-Night

Club Roadies in Udaipur—blending a full-service café with an after-dark club—has adopted a Martin Audio Blackline X loudspeaker system to provide high-output sound for DJs while maintaining comfortable, intelligible audio for seated guests.

An energetic extension of the MTV Roadies brand, the concept is a collaboration between Viacom18 and Work With Fun LLP. The venues feature a 'Wall of Fame' of past winners and interiors packed with iconic imagery from the long-running show, pairing nostalgia with live music and DJ sets.

The brief handed to integrator Securetech AV Designs was exacting: deliver power, precision and durability for a demanding club environment. The system needed to cope with long operating hours, fluctuating crowd sizes and the impact required for live DJ performances—all while preserving clarity across dining areas.

Securetech AV Designs specified Martin Audio's proven Blackline X Series of two-way passive loudspeakers for fixed installation, chosen for sound quality, controlled dispersion and reliability. The final design uses a tailored mix of Blackline X8, X10 and X12 models to ensure precise coverage throughout the space, paired with Blackline X118 18-inch subwoofers to deliver the low-frequency authority expected of a modern club.
